This site is dedicated to the cinematic work of Nick Walker, an events director, film critic and filmmaker who programmes, produces and presents events – giving contextualised introductions and post-screening discussions to the films on offer.

Nick is also an Independent filmmaker, writing, directing and producing short films and is the editor of Film Essays – a blog for cineastes wanting to write about the seventh art.

Having previously worked for The Guardian www.guardian.co.uk/film and the London Film Festival www.lff.org.uk Nick is currently Events Director at Film Education www.filmeducation.org and Director of National Schools Film Week www.nationalschoolsfilmweek.org

Nick studied for his BA Hons Degree in Film at Westminster University and is currently studying there for his Masters in Film and television: Theory, Culture and Industry.
